FY2025 Overseas Training for TUFS Administrative Staff Report Session Held

On July 4 (Fri) and July 25 (Fri), 2025, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) held internal report sessions featuring three administrative staff members who participated in overseas training programs during FY2024 and the first half of FY2025. These programs were organized mainly by the International Management Office.
Training Destinations and Activities:
- Portugal (Lisbon, March 2025 – 1 week) Accompanied the TUFS delegation to the HIPS Consortium Meeting.
- Spain (Seville, May 2025 – 1 week) Participated in the University of Seville's International Staff Training Week.
- USA (San Diego, May 2025 – 1 week) Attended the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference in San Diego.
At the report meeting, participants shared valuable experiences and insights gained through the Erasmus+ program, visits to partner universities under academic exchange agreements, and participation in an international conference. Many remarked that it was a meaningful opportunity to learn about how universities in different countries and regions manage their operations and address various challenges.
TUFS will continue to actively support overseas training programs to enhance the skills of administrative staff and foster the development of international networks essential for supporting the university’s globalization efforts.
