The 17th CAAS Coordinators�� Meeting was held on June 12, 2025

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, the 17th Consortium for Asian and African Studies (CAAS) Coordinators' Meeting was held in a hybrid face-to-face and online format.

Last year, it was held online, but this year in a hybrid face-to-face and online format. Despite the large time difference, coordinators from Leiden University (Netherlands), Shanghai International Studies University (China) and TUFS participated in person, and from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO, France), the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, UK), Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS, Republic of Korea), Columbia University (USA) and TUFS participated online, and discussed future CAAS activities, such as the 2026 symposium to be hosted by INALCO (France) in Paris, joining of Kenyatta University (Kenya), etc.
